It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D. Giles of Genoa, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Giles and Anna C. Giles (Gensler); and his siblings, Paul, Raymond Giles, Anna Mae Wray, Phyllis Johnson and Rita Hardy.
He is survived by: his significant other Virginia "Ginny" S. (Meng); and his children, Victoria Soncrant, Michael Giles (Maria), Theresa Searles (Bob), Kevin Giles (Lisa), Thomas Giles (Kelly) and Steven Giles (Kerry). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551, the Allen-Clay J.F.D., Station 36, 101 6th St., Genoa, OH 43430 or St. Jerome Catholic Church.
