He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa; his grandson Caleb Kellhofer; his father Richard Sr.; and his siblings, Linda Lohr, Ruth Schneider, Mark and Joe Reynolds.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reynolds; his daughters, Michelle Torres (Jon) and Marsha Brooks (Brian); his son-in-law Nathan Kellhofer (Mindy); his grandchildren, Jessica (David) of Madison, K. K., Travis, Jakob, Bekah, Liviah, Lucy, Zachary and Abby; his siblings, Nancy Trexler, Margaret Sharpe (Matt), Diane Reynolds, Laura Colon, Charlie and Billy Reynolds; and his mother Ida Reynolds.
