He was predeceased by: his stepsister Geneva Ruth Agnew; his sister Lou; and his son Michael J. Hopkins. He is survived by: his stepsiblings, Paul Carpenter, Loretta Stroud, Velma Pasanen, Thelma Morris and Mel Carpenter; his wife Roberta; his children, Dale Hopkins (Terrie), Linda DeVito and Jesse Hopkins (Debbie); and his daughter-in-law Tina Hopkins. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
