Shirley J. Hardesty-Owens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Hardesty-Owens of Garrettsville, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Showalter and Lewis Showalter; her husbands, James Owens and Charles Hardesty; and her brother Glenn Showalter.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Schaer (Christina Davies) of Minerva and Daniel Schaer (Denise) of Ravenna, Ohio; her grandchildren, Rebekah Schaer (Anthony Gibson), Greg Schaer and Josiah Schaer; her great grandchild Maddie Gibson; her brother Lewis Showalter (Sue); and her sister-in-law Penny Showalter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
