He was predeceased by: his father Robert August; and his siblings, Patty Duty, Jerri Kauderer and Tom Kauderer. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Kauderer (Sipe); his children, Donna Nickell (Mike) of Logan, Danielle Hossfeld (Greg) of Grove City and Bobby Kauderer of Galloway; his grandchildren, Sydney, Dillon, Kaitlin, Kelsie, Kaleb, Kolten, Kyler, Karly, Kennah, Hilary, Josh, Chris, Michaela and Bethany; and his sisters, Mary Gill (Rick) of Mechanicsburg, Elda Hackett (Don) of Florida, Susie Lee of Columbus and Tina Deppee (Rick) of Lima. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
