It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Oliver of Galloway, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Metzger and Flossie Metzger (Culp); her former husband Franklin M. Hall; her daughter Deborah L. Duke; her son-in-law Ronald Gessel; her husband Victor Oliver; her stepdaughter Kathie Palmer (John); her stepson-in-law James Dale; and her close friend Gill Millard.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Russ Johnson and Dana Blank; her daughter Kathleen Gessel; and her stepdaughter Gaye Dale. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, Utah, 84741.
