She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Sr.; her parents, Charles Schwaigert and Rosemary Schwaigert; and her brothers-in-law, Mike McDowell, Doug and Jeff Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Jr. (Nicole Vilagi) and Ashley; her sister Carol McDowell; her sons, Kevin McDowell and Brian McDowell (Emily); her brother Fred Jr. Schwaigert (Nadine); and her grandchildren, Harper and Tynslie Koch. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Karen's honor.
