She was predeceased by: her parents, James Whitling and Bessie Whitling; her daughter Barbara G. Valella; her siblings, Willis Whitling, Harold Whitling, Walter Whitling, Helen O'Neil, Merrill Whitling, Donald Whitling, Norman Whitling and Ester Neel; and her husband Chester Leroy Whitmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Todd of Galloway, OH; her grandson Jason Bisbee of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchild-in-law Kanitha; her great grandchild Jaden Maxwell Bisbee; her son Daniel Whitmer of Clintonville, PA; her daughter-in-law Tina; her grandchildren, Kim Holcom and Sara Whitmer; her great grandchild Tyler Holcom; her sister Joanne Brooks; and her sister-in-law Allene Whitmer of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
