He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gerald "Red" Straten and Belva Ann McKinniss Straten; and his wife Sharon Goheen Straten. He is survived by: his children, Dana Straten, Andy Straten, Angel Straten (Danny Darling, Jr.) and Rosezanna Straten; his grandchildren, Sully Woodie and Morgan Woodie; and his sisters, Wanda Albright (Bill) and Thabiatha Poe (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
