It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Higginbotham of Gallipolis, Ohio, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Higginbotham and Lula Howard Higginbotham. He is survived by: his spouse Flo Smith Higginbotham; his children, Richard A. Higginbotham, Jr. (Lori) of Dallas, Dawn Jobe (Carl) of Dallas, David Higginbotham of Dallas, Randy Lee Patterson, Jr. (Sally) of Gallipolis, Amanda Wray (Jeremy) of Panama City, Sandy Farmer of Gallipolis and Andrew Patterson (Tiffany) of Wooster, Ohio; his sisters, Evelyn Garnes of Gallipolis, Judy Sullivan of Tippecanoe, Lynn Demuth (Rick) of Uhrichsville and Cathy Definbaugh of Florida; his close friends, Ike Hively and Chris Drummond; and his pets, Jake, Paisley and Chelsey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of social distancing and the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks.
