He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Long and Helen Campbell Montgomery. He is survived by: his son Patrick Montgomery of Florida; his grandson Marshall Montgomery of Florida; and his sisters, Barbara Johansen of Florida and Eleanor Elliott of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
