He was predeceased by: his father William Sylvester; his brother Ronald Starr; and his grandson Austin Starr. He is survived by: his sons, Randy and Keith; his grandsons, Matthew Starr (Danielle) and Aaron Starr (Jena); his great grandchildren, Kayden, Jace Carpenter, Hailey and Katherine Starr; and his sister Ruth Perriman.
