It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Smith of Frazeysburg, Ohio, born in Dresden, Ohio, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Hindel and Mary Elizabeth Hindel (Luckett); her husband Harley E. Smith Sr.; her children, Mary Ann Burr, Donna Jean Smith, Harley E. Smith Jr., Dorsey Smith Sr. and Donald Smith; her granddaughter Melissa Robinson; her great grandchild MacKenzie Ferland; her son-in-law George Burr Jr.; and her siblings, Anna Slaughter, Loretta Groves, Bus, John, Don, Lee, Dorsey, Lloyd and Jim Hindel.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Hynus Sr. (Lee) of Somerset, Loretta Robinson of Frazeysburg, Joseph Smith Sr. (Rita) of Adamsville, Steven Smith (Dixie) of Zanesville, Gary Smith of Frazeysburg and Richard Smith (Jennifer) of New Lexington; and her daughters-in-law, Martha Smith of Zanesville and Jerrie Smith of Frazeysburg. She is also survived by thirty-two grandchildren; ninety-two great grandchildren and forty-four great great grandchildren.
