She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd E. and Ruth Flowers (Burrier); her husband James T. Hamby; and her siblings, Lloyd Flowers, Jr., Roy Flowers, Virginia Flowers and Juanita Lynn.
She is survived by: her siblings, Naomi Waters, Delores McPeek, Donna Renicker, Phyllis Acord (Emerson), Patricia Waters (Dennis), Vivian Wilson (Roy), Sharon Wallace (Earl), Chester Flowers, Kenneth Flowers and Walter Flowers (Lois); and her close friend Claire Bennett of Newark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
