He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Howard. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Cain Howard; his daughters, Rachel and Allison; and his mother Ruth Ledford Howard. He is also survived by his brother in laws and sister in laws, his nieces, his nephew, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

At this time the family requests instead of flowers for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
