He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rodney and Norma Gross (Painter); and his siblings, Darrell Gross, Wilma Willis, Maxine Vandervoort and Wavalene Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Gross (Manning); his children, Joe Gross (Debbie), Donna Parker (Danny), Tony Gross (Liz) and Doug Gross (Debbie); his grandchildren, Dominic Gross (Christi Barry), Joel Gross (Monica), Matt Parker (Michele), Katie Mullen (Patrick), Wendy Guthrie (Jason), Isaac Gross (Kanisha), Stacey Crouch (Keith), Tim Gross, Chad Eddings, Josh Eddings (Megan) and Jesse Eddings (Jeni); and his brother David Gross. He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be sent to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Carrol.
