Bruce Edward Schmakel Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2023, at the age of 72, Bruce Edward Schmakel (Franklin, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Schmakel and Helen Schmakel; his wife Jane; his daughters, Kelly (Jon) of Indianapolis, Krista (Brian) of Cincinnati and Karrie (Daniel) of Morrow; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Ashleigh, Charlie, Garrett, Leighton and Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Toledo University Edward and Helen Schmakel Scholarship Fund.
