She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Shaffer and Ruth Shaffer (Hill). She is survived by: her children, Gerald Herman (Rachel) of Tontogany, Rebecca Eaken (Michael) of Cygnet, Jesse Herman (Liz) of Hamler and Dylan Herman of Fostoria; her grandchildren, Malachi, Dakota, Pashients, Carly, Payton, Paxton, Madalyn, Pierson and Brooklyn; her former husband Gerald Herman; and her sisters, Tracy Doremus of Fostoria, Tammy Zbinden (Greg) of Custar and Kathy Johnson (Terry) of Weston, Ohio..
