He was predeceased by: his father Dewey C. Hayfield; his wife Elizabeth "Betty" M. Purdy; and his grandson Robin Holderman. He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Lou Ringle (late Mike), Rebecca Ann Malone (Todd) and Pamela Sue Gale (Brad) of Beavercreek, OH; and his sister Elota Lind of Cape Coral, FL.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
