He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Rainey and Helen Rainey (Immel); his son James; his daughter-in-law Jodi Rainey; his grandchildren, Austin, Cody and Jessica Rainey; and his siblings, Warren Rainey, Donald Bowerman, Norma Rainey and Jean Bronson.
He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Rainey of Fostoria; his sons, Matthew Rainey (Michelle) of Fostoria and Michael Rainey (Erin) of Ramona; his brothers, John Rainey (Gene) of Sandusky and Carl Rainey of Tiffin; and his granddaughters, Olivia, Emma and Sara Rainey. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
