We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023 we had to say goodbye to John C. Schalk of Fostoria, Ohio, born in Tiffin, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Schalk and Helen F. Schalk (Steinmetz); and his brother Peter Schalk. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne A. Affholder; his children, Andrew Schalk, Christy Long (Bradley), Jennifer Shanks, Green Springs, Kenneth Schalk (Mison), Columbus, Suzanne Carson (Jeffrey) and Boston; his siblings, Ann Foos (Mark), Helena and Carl Schalk (Carolyn); and his sister-in-law Peg Schalk. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
