With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Gene Shumaker of Fostoria, Ohio, born in Tiffin, Ohio, who passed away on August 24, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Shumaker and Ruth Shumaker (Graham); his sons, Kevin Shumaker of Fostoria, Scott Shumaker (Pamela Fletcher) of Fostoria and Steve Shumaker (Kelly) of Fostoria; his grandchildren, Michael Shumaker (Julia) of Miamisburg, Kristy Persohn (J. D.) of Fostoria, Alisha Weis of Perrysburg and Nicholas Shumaker of Fostoria; his great grandchildren, Lana, Sydney, Mya, Logan, Cora and Mia; and his brother Richard.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to your local humane Society or Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice.
