He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn McQuown (Mark) of Upper Sandusky, Jodi Stuermer (Walt) of Rochester Hills and Andrea Fairchild (Rich Seifert) of Upper Sandusky; his grandchildren, Riley McQuown Shafer (Eric), Delaney McQuown (Collin Brown), Lyndsey McQuown, Drew Stuermer, Sydney Stuermer, Amber Davis, Rachel Nye (Matt) and Brendan Fairchild; his great grandchildren, Ellie Nye and Baby Shafer; and his sister Jean Ellen Grove of Upper Sandusky.
