He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rupright and LaVerne Rupright (Basinger); his wife Ruth Ann (Smith); his siblings, Norma Granger and David Rupright; and his granddaughter Tabetha Wiler.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Norma Rupright; his daughters, Janet Simmermeyer (David), Dawn Gerten (Roger) and Donna Wiler (Timothy); his stepchildren, William Kern and Tina Monday (Chad); his grandchildren, Erika King (Alex), Amber Loach, Autumn King (Corbin), Alexis Stader (John), Cory May (Audrey), Casey May, Branden Wiler and Jessica Wiler (Jay); his stepgranddaughters, Faith Kern, Monica Kern and Alicia Mora (Anthony); and his great grandchildren, Keegan, Callen, Camden, Josie, Simon, Lillian, Marcus, Cooper, Athena, Gemma, Gannon, Sky, Wyatt, Maizey, Luna, Ariana and Ayla.
