He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ramsey and Jean Ramsey (Hamilton). He is survived by: his former wife April (Shupe); his daughters, Tearra Huitt (Jacob Smith) of McComb and Rylee Ramsey of North Baltimore; his siblings, Jerry Ramsey of Bloomdale, Jack Ramsey of Findlay and Jane Kay Deckard of Columbus; his nephews, Ben Deckard of Columbus and Chris Deckard (Kate) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Colton Smith, Gatlin Smith and Remington Smith.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross and/or Elmwood Athletic Department.

“I was stunned to hear of Jeff's passing. I had not seen Jeff in years and we crossed paths in Columbus at the Michigan State game just two weeks ago. Really enjoyed talking with him and catching up.
