He was predeceased by: his children, Lora, Tracy Garber and Mark Garber; and his brother Norman Eugene "Gene" Garber. He is survived by: his wife Janice Garber (Hollinger); his children, Rick Garber (Denise), Tim Garber (Barb) and Carol Garber (Michael Williams); his grandchildren, Julie Koogler (Brandon), Jennifer Serres (Dustin), Justin Garber (Teresa), Beth Garber (Joe Hile), Brian Garber (Caitlyn), Allison Geeting (Alex), Mason Kuykendoll (Annah) and Davyn Williams; and his sister Barbara Shyrigh.
