She was predeceased by: her parents, Katri Malkamäki (Prepula) and Kustaa Adolf Malkamäki; her son Seppo Saari; her brother Arvo Malkamäki; her sister-in-law Anja Malkamäki; her siblings, Aili (Malkamaki) and Veikko Malkamaki (Laura); and her brother-in-law Richard Ramsey.
She is survived by: her spouse Martti Hermanni Saari; her daughter-in-law Anna Saari; her children, Reijo Saari (Cindy) and Anita Chirdon (Chuck); her grandchildren, Naomi Schukert, Danielle Chirdon, Mike Saari, Jamin Saari and Jesse Chirdon; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Steven Schukert, Blake, Madeline Saari, Brandon and Jacen Saari; her brothers, Esko Malkamäki and Paavo (Esteri); her sister-in-law Aino Malkamäki; her sister Aino Ramsey of Painesville, OH; and her sister-in-law Laura Malkamaki of Concord, OH.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
