He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas, Dollie Carter, Steve and Julia Deak; and his niece Annamarie Reser.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jamie Harter (Joel) and Jessica Watson (Chris); his grandchildren, Landen and Levi; his parents, John Deak and Peggy Deak (Carter); and his siblings, Richard Deak (Joy) and Gina Reser (Richard). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
