He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Tipple; his parents, Harold Tipple and Mary Tipple; and his brothers, Darl and Jerry Tipple.
He is survived by: his children, James Tipple, Randy Tipple of Union, Diane Tipple of Union and Brad Tipple (Amy) of Dayton; and his close friend Sue Applegate. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
