He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peter and Julia Peter; and his siblings, John (Julia), Julius (Helen), Joe, Louis (Betty), Irene Horvath (Joe), Margaret Thomasko (Elmer), Robert and Franklin.

He is survived by: his wife Sherrie (Riemer); his children, Kim Latsa (Scott) of Orlando, FL, Debbie Betts and Dave (Avon); his grandchildren, Jacob, Regan, Madisyn, Ryah, Natalie and Alex; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Peter and Joyce Peters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
