Thurman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordie Mae (Pryor) and John E. Taylor; his wife Donna Taylor (Stevens); his daughter Debra "Debbie" Taylor; his granddaughter Nancy "Nia" Taylor; and his siblings, James "Big Tate" Taylor (Ethel), Theresa Allen (Wilbur K.), Melvin Taylor (Sharon "Kay") and Loretta Mahone.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Tommy Williams, Miyana Brown of San Antonio, TX, Wil IV and Marissa Stevens of Millbrook, AL; and his sisters, Gloria "Pat" Bullocks of Elyria, OH and Diane Collins of New Orleans, LA.. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (427 Chapman Ln, Elyria, OH 44035). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
