He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Claire; his wife Phyllis Jean; his daughter Laurie Dieringer; and his sister Susan Long.
He is survived by: his daughter Debby Lance (Charles); his sister Carol Noblitt (John); his grandchildren, Jason (Christina), Justin (Erin McAdams), Andrew Lance, Ashley Csata (Eric) and Bradley Dieringer (Katie); his great grandchildren, Abby, Graham, Rosie, Sara Lance, Trenton, Tatum Csata, Sherlock and Quinn Dieringer; and his son-in-law Scott Dieringer (Homer).
