With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Shropshire of Elyria, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Joseph's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joseph has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shropshire and Mary Evans Shropshire; his brothers, Robert James Shropshire of Heath Spring, SC, Roosevelt Shropshire of Heath Spring, SC and Hayward Lee Shropshire of Heath Spring, SC; and his stepson Michael A Brown.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Shopshire Jr. Joseph (Bianca); his wife Ruthie Shropshire; his stepson Larry D. Brown; his daughter Delores A Shropshire; his sister Geraldine Clinton; and his cousin Maxine Harris of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
