He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Wells and James "Butch" Jr. Wells. He is survived by: his children, Autum Wells, Summer Wells and James Wells V; his close friend Melissa Barber; his sister Dawn Wells; and his nieces and nephews, Alexia, Zoie, Nylah, Nathan and Scarlett. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
