He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Firestine and Besse Firestine (Thompson); his wife Maxine Firestine (Smith); his son Gary Firestine (Diane); and his siblings, Dorothia Fawley, Cathrine Inskeep and Delbert Firestine.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Firestine (Joan) of Youngstown, Mark Firestine (Kelly) of Elyria, Patricia Starling (Jody) of Chesapeake, VA, Connie Linden (Alfred) of Elyria and Gail Wiegand (Tim) of Merrimack, NH.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
