He is survived by: his mother Myrtle McBride; his wife Claretta McBride; his children, Demeka Williams (Andre) of Euclid, James Woolfork Sr., Andrea McQuater (Myles) of Richmond Heights and Ladesia Woolfork of Sheffield Village, Ohio; his sister Desma Faye Russell; his mother-in-law Rose Sampson of Elyria, Ohio; his godson Steven Phillips of Jacksonville, NC.; his uncle Lewis McVeigh; and his siblings, Shirley Watson, Barbara Goodwin, Irma Jackson, JoAnn Cavitt, Marvetta Woolfork, Roxanne Woolfork and Bobby McBride. He is also survived by Grandchildren and (8) Great – Grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (127 W Bridge St, Elyria, OH 44035). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (614 W River Rd N, Elyria, OH 44035).
