He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia "Ginny"; his children, Jennifer Backos (Edward), Daniel Deeks (Emily) and Jill Yusko (Joseph); his grandchildren, Zachary, Julia Backos, Bridge Francis, Mitchell, Lilah Deeks, Joseph Yusko (Lindsay), Alyssa Thompson (Alex) and Brayden Yusko; his great grandchild Cade Yusko; his siblings, Ray Deeks (Jana), Walter "Lee" Deeks (Maryann), Gerard Deeks (Elaine), Charles Deeks (Marjorie) and Rita Hogan; his parents, Walter and Pearl; his siblings, Joseph Deeks and Mary Ann Gibbons; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Gibbons and Rosemary Deeks. He was also cherished by relatives and friends.
