He was predeceased by: his mother Bertha Huffman; his brother Charles Lankey; his children-in-law, Cindy Lankey and Michael Akers; and his grandson Geoffrey Lankey.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Arlene"; and his children, Robert Lankey (Becky) of LaGrange, Michael Lankey of Elyria and Pamela Akers (Steve Dora) of Elyria. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
