He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Brown and Helen Louise Brown (Blackford); his former wife Bonita Dee Brown; his grandson James Alan Oakes; and his great grandchild Drew Aden Steinberger.
He is survived by: his wife Twila L. Brown of Eldorado, OH; his children, Dean Richard Brown (Shawna Mader) of The Villages, FL, Duane A. Brown (Kevin Martin) of Fennville, MI, Deanna L. Oakes (David) of Richmond, IN, Rick E. Lewis of New Paris, OH, Ronald L. Lewis of Eaton, OH and Robin Oda (David) of Arcanum, OH; his grandchildren, Katie Williams (Brandon), Danielle Steinberger (Dustin), Tarah Napier (Jim), Tosha Hobson (Kayne), Michael Lewis, Donald Lewis, Karen McCain (Mark), Carlee Sowers (Todd), Ben Oda (Kelcie), Colton Oda (Alysha), Jenny Oda and Carsee Jane Blaske (Aaron); and his brother Michael Brown (Sally) of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Eldorado United Methodist Church.
