She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Burlew and Frieda Burlew (Reas); and her siblings, Bill, Bob Burlew and Lois Gibson.

She is survived by: her husband Max S. Lower; her sons, Nick Lower (Carissa) of Defiance and Nolan Lower (Amie) of Edgerton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Noah, Abigail, Kendall and Jordyn; and her sisters, Bonnie Mills of Edon, Beverly Mason (Robert) of Edon and Cheryl Baughman of Las Vegas, Nevada..
