He is survived by: his parents, Walter L. Boyer and Arlene Kay Boyer (Seeley) of Montpelier; his son Dakota Shaffer of Ney, Ohio; his brother Dennis L. Boyer (Amy) of Montpelier; his nieces and nephews, Joseph Boyer, Kaylie Fox (Joey) and Taylor Brown; and his pets, Sally and Lady.
Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.
