She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford McCowin and Clara Nicely McCowin; her husband James Elton McLaughlin; and her siblings, Alice Genevieve Dickey and C. William McCowin.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicky L. Mohr (Gary) of East Palestine; her grandchildren, Allison Oltmann (Eric) of East Palestine and Jared Mohr (Whitney) of Johnstown; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Oltmann, Paige Oltmann, Harper Oltmann, Piper Mohr, Isaac Mohr, Caleb Mohr and Levi Mohr.
Because of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the family has decided to plan a memorial celebration with details to be announced at a later date when her family and friends can safely gather to celebrate her life.
Memorial donations may be made to Negley United Methodist Church or the East Palestine Memorial Public Library.
