He is survived by: his children, Rob Beers, Jr. of East Palestine, Michael Beers (BethAnn) of East Palestine and Marcy Beers of East Palestine; his grandchildren, Robert Beers III, Whitley Beers-Berry, Alexus, Dominic and Cameran Posey; his great grandchild Grayson Gillin; and his siblings, Jerry Beers of Florida, Matthew Beers III of Florida, Patty Palarie of New Springfield and Beverly McFarland (James) of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
