It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Stewart (East Palestine, Ohio), born in Washington Township, Ohio, who passed away on July 1, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Stewart and Vivian Rice Stewart; and his siblings, Shirley Knickerbocker, Alice Dancer, Dorothy Kierta, Evelyn Babb, Ray Stewart and Glenn Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Grim; his sons, Flay Stewart (Beth) of East Palestine, David Stewart (Marlene) of Lisbon, Rodney Stewart (Beth) of Lisbon and Terry Stewart of Salem; and his siblings, Thelma Pennyscott of Lake Park, FL and James Stewart of East Liverpool. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
