He is survived by: his wife Marcia Howard; his sons, Dr. Douglas Van Fossen (Paula) of Columbus and Scott Van Fossen (Karen) of Lexington, KY; and his grandchildren, Kelli, Jennifer, Michael, Christopher, Patrick, Katherine Van Fossen and Allison Henderson.
