She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bowers and Betty Bowers; her son Michael Schmidt; and her siblings, William Perry, Paul Richard, John Robert and Mary Layfield (Robert "Barney" Barnhouse).
She is survived by: her children, Cliff Schmidt (Julie Michalski), Michelle Swagger and Terri Schmidt; her grandchildren, Drake Schmidt, Frank Houser III, Amanda Houser, Ceirra Swagger, Andrea Schmidt, Jessica Schmidt and John Walker; her great grandchildren, Maci Houser, Kaden Schmidt, Jordan Walker and Gavin Schultz; and her siblings, Patricia Guy, Bonnie Bennett, Peggy Hamm, Frederick James and Daniel Clark.
