She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Kelly and Florence Kelly (Warner); her husband Paul Gitschlag; her former husband Peter Bennick; her son Dale Bennick; and her brothers, William and Daniel Kelly.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen Bennick Pfriem (Jeff Pfriem) of Powell, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Tyler Pfriem, Cassie Abke and James Abke. She is also survived by one great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
