She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "L. J." and Viola Jenny Ames (Retzler); her husband Charles "Bud" Mitchell; her children, Kim Mitchell and Amy Jo Mitchell; and her sister Joan Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Mitch Mitchell (Valerie) of Dresden and Jody Bryan (Denny) of Zanesville; her daughter-in-law Holly Mitchell of Canada; her sister Betty Householder of West Lafayette; her grandchildren, Ashley Mitchell, Nick Bryan (Kerry), Chad Bryan (Valerie), Levi, Jed, Justice and Shaddai Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett, Caroline and Thea. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
