With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Wayne Abel of Dennison, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Wayne "Diz" and Gladys Louise Abel (Gray); his father-in-law Jessie (Xavier Grezlik); his sister-in-law Rose Welshenbaugh; his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Dallas Leavers.
He is survived by: his children, Vince Abel (Rae), Christina Guy (Brad) and Melissa Harris (Steve); his grandchildren, Terin (Madison), Zane, Mackenzie, Ashton, Lloyd, Ethan (Brandy), Kourtney, Darnelle, LaShante and Monisha; his great grandchildren, Malcolm, Laila, Maverick, Leo and Adonis; his brothers, Ronnie L. Abel (Sue) and William E. Abel (Debra); his brother-in-law Dennis Welshenbaugh; his close friend Jimmy Albaugh; and his pet Marley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions honoring Roy's memory may be made to the Dennison Fire Department.
