It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Owen Wheeler of Delaware, Ohio, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Franklin Wheeler and Rutha Ellen Wheeler (Harris); his wife Sharon Ann Wheeler; his son Mark McCumber; his great grandchild Trent Wheeler; and his brother Herbie Gene Wheeler.
He is survived by: his son Hubert Alvin Wheeler (Tina Hurley) of Delaware, Ohio; his stepsons, Russell Rider (Niki) of Waldo and Danny Burnett, Jr. (Colleen) of Bristow, Virginia; his grandchildren, Megan Elkins (Nate), Kristin Ham (Kevin), Mike Luidhardt (Ericka) and Nick Fields; his great grandchildren, Abagail, Landon, Alex, Logan and Levi; and his nephew Rick Wheeler (Melissa).
